This is a newly created medical responsibility to support the launch of an innovative Biologix in Switzerland (and first in Europe) that has a high medical value for patients suffering from an or-phan disease in hematology. As medical representative, you build a network to Key Opinion Lea-ders in Switzerland and help to make it a successfull market entry. You ensure best medical value for all stakeholders, and last but not least for the patients.

Your main tasks

  • Build and develop a peer level relationship with key opinion leaders to support the understanding of the Swiss market and clinical situation
  • Close collaboration with the brand team as medical scientific expert, being an active driver in the brand strategy and for pre-launch activities
  • As a project manager, identification of potential centres for the execution of medical projects
  • Support organisation in medical affairs and medical information and execution of scientific events such as advisory boards, symposia, workshops or other educational initiatives for healthcare professionals
  • Leadership for regional medical projects and advisory boards
  • Preparation and execution of medical and scientific presentation for educational and internal trainings
  • Participation in national and international congresses
  • Support clinical research program and investigator initiated trials and be the main local medical representative

Your qualifications

  • Advanced degree in biomedical science preferably (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MD) and knowledge in Hematology and/or Oncology
  • Preferably experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry, preferentially as MSL or within Medical Affairs in one of the therapeutic areas mentioned above; experience within clinical research will also be considered
  • High level of scientific knowledge and ability to analyse and process clinical and scientific data
  • Experience in liaising with healthcare professionals
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of the local regulatory requirements related to medical affairs activities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as in a crossfunctional team
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and German is mandatory, knowledge of French is a plus
